The Advanced Learner Program offers previously identified gifted and talented youth as well as those students who are academically advanced the opportunity to participate in Honor classes, academic activities, and experiences that are uniquely designed to provide the challenge and rigor that they require.

The Advanced Academic Specialist works closely with General Education Teachers who have academically advanced students in their classrooms to provide curriculum opportunities of higher levels of learning within the regular classroom.

In addition, the Advanced Academic Specialist works with small groups of students on projects designed to enhance the curriculum.
